Discovery Learning Center offers a unique blend of childcare services designed to meet each of a child's developmental needs, resulting in Whole Child Development. Whole Child Development is a teaching philosophy designed to strengthen and encourage the development of every child’s emotional, intellectual, social, and physical well-being through expert care and a unique partnership with parents.

The Discovery family is dedicated to ensuring a safe home-away-from- home environment for every child as well as the best educational practices that exceed our families’ highest expectations.

Our Staff

	Sandra Garity is the owner-Director of Discovery Learning Center. In April 2004 she acquired the center from a previous owner. She is a graduate of Marymount University with a Bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing and also has a Child Development Associate. Sandra is an active member of the National Childcare Assoc. (NCCA) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She is married to her husband Rob and they have 2 girls.
	Natalie McClinton is the Director of Discovery Learning Center. Natalie has 10 years of childcare experience with 5 of those years as a Director/Teacher. She has a Child Development Associate and is currently working on a degree in early childhood education. She is also participates as a Girl Scout Trainer and Leader. Natalie is married to her high school sweetheart Greg and they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
	Theresa Waller is the Director of Discovery Learning Center. She has 10 years experience as a home childcare provider for the Air Force and 4 years of center based experience. In 2005, the Air Force awarded her Childcare Provider of the Year at Holloman AFB, New Mexico. Theresa is actively seeking a degree in early childhood education and has a Child Development Associate. She is married to her husband Ted and they have 3 children.
